“ Mighty Waters Cannot Quench Love…” (Shir Hashirim/Song of Songs)

 In honor of Valentine’s Day (NOT a Jewish holiday to be sure)

I propose looking at some stand out love stories from the Hebrew Bible…

We will start with the story of Jonathan and King David, move on to the dramatic encounter between Samson and Delilah, and end (time permitting) with a look at one of the most love poems in the world, Song of Songs…something for everyone –no matter whom you love.

When – Saturday/Shabbat February 16^th..9:30-11
